|
The floods of 1997 damaged the lands of the Czech farmers. The country has a very large self-sufficient and diversified production. Moreover, the Czech farming sector needs reforms in order to prepare the country for a future entrance within the European Union. Apart from the farming sector, the forest sector is very important for the Czech Republic.
