What is the FITA Air Travel Dollars Program?
FITA Air Travel Dollars are issued monthly in the amount of 1% of the Sprint invoice on qualifying products and services. For each $10,000 of monthly Sprint communications usage, companies earn annual FITA Air Travel Dollars of $1,200. This benefit is administered and funded by FITA, and is in addition to any discounts and other promotional considerations a customer may receive from Sprint. Customers redeem FITA Air Travel Dollars for airline tickets: domestic or international, any airline, any class of service, any time. And tickets qualify for frequent flyer miles!
Who is Eligible to Earn Air Tickets?
Any organization enrolled in the FITA Partner Marketing Program with a total invoice value that exceeds $10,000 per month is eligible. The following Sprint products qualify for the program:
- Domestic Long Distance
- International Long Distance
- Internet Access from Earthlink® and Sprint
- Sprint Toll-Freesm service
- Personal Conferencing
- Sprint FONCARDsm
- Dedicated voice
- Dedicated Internet
Both new and existing Sprint customers are eligible for the FITA Air Travel Program. For new accounts, FITA Air Travel Dollars are issued on all qualifying Sprint products. For existing accounts, FITA Air Travel Dollars are issued on the increase in revenue from added locations and/or new qualifying Sprint products.
How is the FITA Air Travel Program Managed?
FlTA sends each participant in the FITA Air Travel Program a monthly statement. FITA Travel Dollars are based on 1% of the net new revenue for the account. Net new revenue is defined as usage after taxes and other discounts that may apply. For new Sprint customers, net new revenue is based on revenue from all eligible Sprint products. For existing Sprint customers, net new revenue is based on the increase in revenue from new locations and qualifying products. Statements are sent within l0 days of FITA's receipt of Sprint reports - generally four months after invoice:e date. For example, a customer enrolled in June would receive their first FITA Travel Program statement in November.
Customers redeem their FITA Air Travel Dollars through FITA's Redemption Center operated by Carlson Wagonlit Travel. FITA Air Travel Dollars can be used for any domestic or international travel, any airline, any class of service and tickets qualify for frequent: flyer miles.
Can Organizations Take Advantage of Other Sprint Discounts Such as Term Agreements?
Yes. Being part of the FITA Sprint Air Travel Program does not preclude an organization from taking advantage of any discounts and/or benefits that might be available from Sprint.
